Terms of Service

Effective date: November 3, 2026

This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any difference, the Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the StanThat service (the "Service") provided by DesignFos (the "Company"), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and members.

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. "Service" means the web service that collects and shows videos from a member's YouTube subscriptions and provides related features such as channel categories, search, STAN (saving videos) and stats tracking.
2. "Member" means a person who signs in with a Google account, agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
3. "Plan" means a service level (FREE and paid plans) defined by the Company according to feature limits.

Article 3 (Effect and changes)

1. These Terms are posted on the Service and take effect when a member signs in.
2. The Company may change these Terms within the limits of applicable law, and will announce the changes and their effective date on the Service at least 7 days in advance (30 days for changes unfavorable to members).
3. If a member does not agree to the changed Terms, they may stop using the Service and delete their account. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means agreeing to the changed Terms.

Article 4 (Membership)

1. Membership is created by signing in with a Google account and granting the "View your YouTube account" permission. This permission is required to build your subscription feed.
2. Children under 14 may not become members.
3. People who use another person's account, or whose use the Company has restricted, may not sign up.

Article 5 (YouTube)

1. The Service uses the YouTube API Services. By using the Service, members agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
2. Rights to YouTube content shown in the Service, such as videos, channels and comments, belong to their owners. Videos are played only through the YouTube player. The Company does not download or redistribute YouTube content.
3. The Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
4. If YouTube policies or APIs change so that some features cannot be provided, the Company may change or stop those features.

Article 6 (Service and changes)

1. The Company provides features such as the subscription feed, category sorting (including AI auto-sort), search (including AI search correction), STAN, YouTube stats tracking, StanThat watch counts, and new video and live stream notifications.
2. AI auto-sort and search correction are produced by AI (Anthropic's Claude) and may not be accurate. You can change the categories yourself or search again with your original words.
3. The Company may change the Service for operational or technical reasons, and will announce important changes in advance.
4. The Company may suspend the Service temporarily for maintenance, outages or problems with external services (YouTube, Google Cloud, etc.).

Article 7 (Plans and paid services)

1. Prices and feature limits of each plan follow what is shown on the [Pricing] page. Prices are in US dollars (USD); customers in Korea pay in Korean won (KRW). Taxes such as VAT may be added as shown at checkout.
2. Reseller: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, tax calculation and remittance, receipts and refunds, and by paying you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy. The Company is responsible for providing the features and limits included in each plan.
3. Automatic renewal: Paid plans are charged automatically to your saved payment method at the same price every billing period you chose (monthly or yearly). The price and billing period are shown at checkout before you agree to pay.
4. Cancellation: You can cancel at any time with [Cancel subscription] on the [My plan] page or through the link in the receipt email from Paddle. After cancelling you will not be charged again, and you can keep using the plan until the end of the period already paid for. It then changes to the FREE plan.
5. Plan changes: Switching to another paid plan takes effect immediately. The prorated difference for the rest of the current billing period is charged right away or credited against your next payment.
6. Price changes: If we raise the price of a paid plan, we will notify you by email and in the Service at least 30 days before it applies, and the new price applies from the following renewal. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the renewal.
7. Withdrawal and refunds: You can request a full refund for any reason within 14 days of a payment. Details follow our Refund Policy. Your statutory rights, including those under the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, are not affected.
8. For members who receive a plan through a DATA LIVE Patreon membership or a DATA LIVE YouTube channel membership, payment, cancellation and refunds of the membership follow Patreon's or YouTube's terms and policies, and the plan changes when the membership tier changes or ends. If you receive plans in several ways, the highest plan applies.
9. If a member moves to a lower plan, existing categories and kept videos stay, but nothing new can be added while over the limit, and YouTube stats tracking over the limit may be turned off.
10. Monthly counts (category auto-sort, channel refresh, etc.) reset each month on the subscription date, and unused counts do not carry over.
11. If you delete your account, any active paid subscription is cancelled immediately; refunds follow the Refund Policy.

Article 8 (Members' obligations)

Members must not:

1. Use another person's account or personal information
2. Send excessive requests to the Service by automated means or try to get around usage limits
3. Interfere with the operation of the Service or YouTube, or try to compromise their security
4. Use the comment feature to post content that violates the law or YouTube policies
5. Use, copy or distribute the Service for commercial purposes without the Company's consent

Article 9 (Restrictions and termination)

1. Members may end their agreement at any time with [Delete account] on the [My plan] page, and the Company deletes their information without delay as described in the Privacy Policy.
2. If a member violates Article 8, the Company may restrict their use of the Service or terminate the agreement after notice. In urgent cases, the Company may restrict first and notify afterwards.

Article 10 (Limitation of liability)

1. The Company is not liable when it cannot provide the Service for reasons beyond its control, such as natural disasters or outages or policy changes of external services (YouTube, Google, Patreon, Paddle, Anthropic, etc.).
2. YouTube numbers and StanThat watch counts shown in the Service are values at the time of measurement, and their accuracy or completeness is not guaranteed.
3. The Company is not liable for problems caused by the member.
4. Unless the law provides otherwise, the Company is not liable for features provided free of charge.

Article 11 (Privacy)

The Company protects members' personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Article 12 (Disputes)

1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. Disputes about the use of the Service are brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
